The BLS 5700 full-face respirator mask is made from silicone rubber. This type of mask also has FDA approval for enhanced safety. The mask is fitted with two connections featuring the ‘b-lock’ bayonet system for the secure attachment of two respiratory filters. A 6-point headband ensures an optimal and secure fit for the respirator and offers various adjustment options.
The VISOR panoramic field of vision complies with optical class 1 (in accordance with EN 166) – for distortion-free vision. Thanks to the special airflow design for warm and cold air, the masks feature an integrated ‘anti-fog’ system. This eliminates the need for a coating that wears off over time.
A glazed surface coating makes the surface of the visor particularly scratch-resistant and provides additional protection against flying particles travelling at speeds of up to 244.5 m/s, in accordance with the Ballistic V50BL(P) test (standard: MIL-STD-662F:1997).
Important: Two BLS 200 series respiratory filters suitable for the application are required for use.
