10. Third-Party Content and Services

Our website's offering may include content, services, and performances from other providers that complement our offering. Examples of such offerings are maps from Google Maps, YouTube videos, or graphic representations from third parties. Accessing these third-party services regularly requires the transmission of your IP address. This allows these providers to perceive and store your user IP address. We make every effort to only include third-party providers that use IP addresses solely for content delivery. However, we have no influence on which third-party provider may potentially store the IP address. This storage may, for example, serve statistical purposes. If we become aware of storage processes by third-party providers, we will immediately inform our users of this fact. Please also note the specific privacy policies for individual third-party providers and service providers whose services we use on our website. You can also find them in this privacy policy.

In addition, we must, in accordance with the relevant legal regulations, verify whether you are actually the owner of the provided email address and would like to receive the newsletter. Therefore, we collect information that allows such verification. The data collected in this context is used for sending and receiving the newsletter. It serves no other purpose and is not shared with third parties. Apart from the information necessary for newsletter dispatch, no additional data is collected on our part. Since the dispatch and receipt of the newsletter depend on your consent, you can revoke this consent to the collection and storage of your data at any time without giving reasons. To do this, use the "unsubscribe link" provided in the newsletter.

12. Personal Data

We only collect personal data within the scope of data avoidance and data economy, and only as long as it is necessary for the use of our website or as required by law. We take the protection of your personal data seriously and strictly adhere to the relevant legal regulations and this privacy policy when collecting and processing personal data. When the purpose of data collection is no longer applicable or the end of the legal retention period is reached, the collected data is blocked or deleted. Our website can be regularly used without disclosing personal data. If we collect personal data – such as your name, address, or email address – this data collection is voluntary. Without your express consent, this data will not be disclosed to third parties. Please note that data transmitted over the internet is not always secure. Especially in email traffic, the protection of data exchange cannot be guaranteed.

13. Server Logfiles

The server log files consist of anonymized data collected when you access our website. These pieces of information do not allow conclusions about you personally but are essential for the technical delivery and presentation of our content. They also serve our statistics and the continuous optimization of our content. Typical log files include the date and time of access, the amount of data, the browser used for access, and its version, the operating system used, the domain name of your commissioned provider, the page from which you came to our offer (referrer URL), and your IP address. Log files also enable a precise check in case of suspected illegal use of our website.

14. SSL Encryption

Our website uses SSL encryption when transmitting confidential or personal information of our users. This encryption is activated, for example, during the processing of payment transactions and inquiries that you send to us through our website. Please make sure that SSL encryption is activated on your side during relevant activities. The use of encryption is easy to recognize: The display in your browser's address bar changes from "http://" to "https://". SSL-encrypted data cannot be read by third parties. Only transmit your confidential information when SSL encryption is activated and contact us if in doubt.

15. Encrypted Payment Transactions

We secure your data during payment transactions. Therefore, our site uses SSL encryption for the transmission of confidential or personal content during payment transactions. You can verify whether SSL encryption is activated by checking the address line of your browser. Only when the regular display changes from "http://" to "https://", the data transmission is encrypted. The browser line "https://" indicates the use of SSL encryption, and payment transactions are now encrypted. With the activation of SSL encryption, it is impossible for third parties to read your confidential data. Therefore, only transmit your data with activated SSL encryption.

16. Facebook Plugin

You will find plugins of the social network Facebook on our website. Its provider is Facebook Inc., located in the USA, California 94025, 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park. The Facebook logo or the "Like" button on our site identifies the Facebook plugins for you. Also, refer to the overview of Facebook plugins at http://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/. When you visit our website, we establish a direct connection to the Facebook server via the plugin. You are then redirected there through your browser. With this, Facebook associates the information that you have visited our website with your IP address. By clicking the Facebook "Like" button, you link the content of our website with your profile on Facebook. For Facebook, the visit to our site can be assigned to your user account. We have no knowledge of the content that is transmitted to Facebook or how Facebook uses it. For more information about data collection and usage in the Facebook privacy policy, visit http://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php. You can prevent the association of your visit to our site with your Facebook profile by logging out of your Facebook account beforehand.

17. Use of Google AdSense

We integrate Google AdSense advertisements on our website. Google AdSense is a remarketing function of Google Inc. It allows us to offer visitors to our sites tailored, interest-based advertisements. Cookies are used for this purpose. These text files stored on your computer generate information that identifies you as a visitor, such as identifying your IP address. Additionally, web beacons are used. These are invisible graphics that analyze visitor traffic on a website. Google transmits all the mentioned information to its servers in the USA. In this context, Google denies the storage of personal data and the merging of IP addresses with other Google services. However, Google Inc. is not prevented from sharing the information with third parties. You have the option to prevent this remarketing function. You can make the necessary settings on the following website: http://www.google.com/settings/ads. You can already prevent the storage of cookies on the page http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp. The same result can be achieved through corresponding settings in your browser, which are explained to you through its help function. Without cookies, the display and functionality of our website may be restricted. By using our web offering, you regularly agree to Google collecting the specified data in remarketing in the manner described above.

18. Google AdWords

We use Google AdWords, an online advertising program of Google Inc., on our website. Conversion tracking is also used with this tool. Google AdWords sets a cookie on your PC when you come to our website via a Google ad. The cookie is no longer valid after 30 days. It does not serve personal traceability. If you visit our website as a user and the cookie is still working, Google and we can recognize that you clicked on the corresponding ad and were redirected to our site. Each Google AdWords customer is assigned a different cookie. Cookies cannot be tracked through the websites of AdWords customers. With the data obtained through conversion cookies, conversion statistics are created for AdWords customers. In this way, we, as customers, learn the total number of users who responded to our ad and were then redirected to a website with a conversion tracking tag. We do not receive any information in this process that could personally identify you as a user. If you reject the tracking procedure, you can deactivate the Google conversion tracking cookie via your Internet browser. Use the browser's help function for more information if necessary. You can find more information about Google's privacy policy and Google Analytics at http://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.

19. Use of Google Analytics

We use the Google Analytics web analysis service from Google Inc. on our website. This service uses cookies. These are text files that allow an analysis of your user behavior in relation to our website by storing them on your PC. The cookies generate information that is transferred to a Google server. These servers are usually located in the USA but follow agreements for the use of the European Economic Area and shorten your IP address before transmission to the United States. Only in exceptional cases is the IP address shortened after transmission to the USA. Google evaluates the transmitted information and provides further services for us website operators in this context. The determined IP address is not merged with other Google services. You can prevent the storage of cookies on your computer by making changes to your browser settings. However, this may be associated with display and function restrictions when using our website. A browser plugin also prevents the collection and use of data generated by cookies. You can download it at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. Learn more about Google's privacy conditions and Google Analytics at: http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/.

20. Google Analytics Remarketing

We use the remarketing function of Google Inc. on our website. With this function, we present our visitors with tailored and interest-based advertisements together with Google. Google denies the collection of personal data in this context and also claims not to establish connections to other Google services. You can prevent the remarketing function of Google by making appropriate settings at http://www.google.com/settings/ads. Furthermore, the use of cookies can be deactivated via http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp or by changing settings in your browser. Use its help function if necessary. The company denies the connection of data with information from other Google services and the collection of personal data in this context. However, Google can transmit the information to third parties. If you deactivate JavaScript in your browser, you prevent Google Maps from running. However, you can then also not use the map display on our website. By using our website, you consent to the described collection and processing of information by Google Inc. More details on privacy and terms of use for Google Maps can be found here: https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps.html.

22. Google+ Plugin

We use functions of Google+ on our website. The social network is offered by Google Inc., located in the USA, CA 94043, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View. Google+ enables global content publication through its button. You are also offered personalized content from Google and partner providers. Your +1 rating can be displayed with your profile name and photo in other Google services. Google records your +1 activities overall. This recording serves to optimize and personalize the Google offer for you. To use the Google+ platform, you create a globally visible profile under a name chosen by you. The chosen name is also used for other Google services. If someone knows your email address, they can access your Google+ profile. Google uses the collected data in accordance with its data protection regulations, among other things, to create statistics that are passed on or otherwise used in a summarized form by partner companies. We have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted information or its use by Instagram. You can find more information about the collection and use of data by Instagram in the Instagram privacy policy at http://instagram.com/about/legal/privacy/
