The UNGER HydroPower Ultra Filter LC System uses deionisation to produce pure water of exceptionally high quality. This process removes 100 per cent of the dissolved minerals from tap water, meaning the resulting water can be used straight away for streak-free cleaning.
The filter is fitted with three resin bags, each with a capacity of 6 litres. As the water flows through the ion-exchange resin, the minerals are completely removed via the ion-exchange process. With medium water hardness, a single resin refill can produce up to 2,450 litres of purified water, which corresponds to a cleaning duration of up to 20 hours at a cleaning rate of 100 square metres per hour.
An integrated digital TDS meter continuously displays the quality of the outgoing water. As soon as the reading rises above 10 ppm, the resin bags must be replaced. Thanks to the KeyLock system, this can be done quickly, safely and with ease, even for beginners.
The shut-off valve on the filter can be closed for transport. This reliably prevents any accidental water leakage, making mobile use much easier.
Disposal
When used as intended with tap water, spent resin packs can be disposed of in small quantities with normal household waste. Local disposal regulations must be observed.
