The UNGER HydroPower Ultra Filter S is a portable deionisation (DI) filter for producing pure water and is suitable for direct use in professional glass cleaning. The ion-exchange process produces 100 per cent pure water without any chemical additives, which cleans surfaces streak-free and without the need for further treatment.
The integrated FloWater technology ensures an even distribution of tap water within the resin tank, thereby making particularly efficient use of the ion-exchange resin. This resin has been specially developed to meet the requirements of glass cleaning. A TDS meter on the top displays the current purity level of the water. Pure water leaves the filter with a TDS value of 0, meaning it contains no dissolved minerals.
The filter features a sturdy, rust-proof quick-connect hose coupling that prevents accidental leakage during transport. The sealable water tank can be replaced quickly and easily, making it particularly practical for everyday use.
DI filters offer an easy way to get started with pure water technology. The service life of the resin depends on the water hardness at the point of use. Soft water extends the service life, as the resin becomes saturated more slowly.
Disposal
When used as intended, spent resin packs can be disposed of in small quantities with tap water via normal general waste. Local disposal regulations must be observed.
