The Classic Brush entrance mat is a robust dirt-trapping mat for indoor and outdoor use that has been specially developed for entrances with heavy traffic. A combination of coarse nylon fibres and traditional, through-dyed carpet fibres ensures a particularly strong scraping and wiping effect. This effectively removes dirt, sand and moisture from the soles of shoes and reliably binds them in the mat. The hard-wearing LUTRADUR base material reduces fibre loss and creates a stable bond between the pile and backing. The nitrile rubber backing is resistant to chemicals, grease and oil and prevents cracking and crinkling. The polymer also contains 34% recycled material.
Cleaning
Classic Brush mats can be cleaned in various ways:

Commercially washed (see washing instructions)
2.
Vacuum regularly (daily in high-traffic areas; weekly in less so)
3.
Cleaned with an extractor and laid flat to dry
Mats should always be dry before being used again and cooled before rolling.
Washing instructions
1. Rinse | 2-3 min. at medium water level and a maximum temperature of 49 °C
2. Rinse (optional) | 2-3 min. at medium water level and a maximum temperature of 49 °C
3. Pause | 2-3 min. at a high water level and a maximum temperature of 49 °C
4. Rinse | 2 min. at high water level and cold temperature
5. Rinse | 2 min. at high water level and cold temperature
6. Spin | on low speed, 1-2 min.
7. Shake out | turn the wheel with the drain open at wash speed, 1 min.
8. Extract | low speed, 3-5 min.
9. Dry | 5-10 min., at a maximum drum temperature of 82 °C
10. Cooling | 5 min.
Additional recommendations
- For heavily soiled mats, the washing temperature can be increased to 60 °C.
- Washing should not exceed a pH value of 9.5; use non-ionic detergents with a low pH value.
- Do not overdry the mats; the drum temperature of the dryer should not exceed 82 °C.
- If the mats are not dry, the rinsing temperature can be increased to 60 °C. This will minimise moisture retention during drying. This will reduce moisture retention during subsequent spinning.
- Lay the mats flat and smooth to cool before rolling.
