The toilet papers are available in 2, 3 and 4-ply, or as single sheets or jumbo rolls.
The toilet papers of the Oeco Swiss line are produced in Switzerland and have been awarded several different environmental protection certificates. Only raw materials and supplies that meet strict selection criteria are used for the sustainable production processes. In recognition of our responsibility towards the environment, we consistently refrain from using chlorine or chlorine gas bleached raw materials in production. The use of waste paper contributes significantly to the protection of forests. For pulp products, 100% pulp fibres from sustainably managed and certified forests are used exclusively.
The Blue Angel
The Blue Angel is an environmental certificate awarded in Germany since 1978 for particularly environmentally friendly products. The hygiene papers made from recovered paper in the Oeco Swiss line are labelled with the Blue Angel.
The production of the Oeco Swiss line follows the guidelines of the Energy Agency for Industry programme, thus actively contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions and the optimisation of energy efficiency.
In April 2012, the production process of the Oeco Swiss line was awarded the "prix éco balance" prize for the greatest relative saving by SBB Cargo. Thanks to the environmentally friendly production process, the transport volume with SBB Cargo was increased 20-fold last year compared to 2010. This meant that 361 tonnes of CO2 emissions and 737 LWK journeys by road were avoided.
