The HYGOSTAR rescue blanket with gold-silver foil provides effective protection against cooling, hypothermia or overheating in emergency situations. It reflects up to 85% of body heat, making it an indispensable part of any first aid kit.
For cold protection, the silver side faces the person to retain body heat and the patient is completely wrapped up. For heat protection, the silver side is turned outwards to keep out heat radiation and the blanket is placed loosely over the patient.
