Sturdy safety helmet made of polyethylene with 3 adjustable ventilation openings. The safety helmet is certified to EN 397 (industrial safety helmet), can also be used at very low temperatures (down to -30°C) and provides protection against molten metal splashes. The safety helmet is fitted with an interior system featuring a dial mechanism for stepless size adjustment (adjustment range: 52–61 cm) and an adapter system for Uvex visors, Uvex helmet caps and Uvex helmet lamps. The interior offers the option of fitting a pair of Uvex pheos safety glasses (Spectacle Mount / IES). IES (Integrated Eyewear System): A glasses mount allows a pair of Uvex pheos safety glasses to be tucked away inside the Uvex pheos helmet using a slider, or pulled down over the nose. The slider is fitted with a hinged section so that movements of the helmet are not transferred to the goggles. The goggles have a defined storage position within the helmet. When the goggles are needed, they can simply be slid down and out. The safety goggles are clicked into place on the goggle clip via the nose bridge and locked into the slider connected to the interior fittings. The clip system of the goggle mount allows the goggles to be easily fitted and removed for changing or cleaning.
