The Classic Brush entrance mat is a robust dirt-trapping mat for indoor and outdoor use, specially designed for high-traffic entrances. A combination of coarse nylon fibres and traditional, solution-dyed carpet fibres ensures a particularly strong scraping and wiping action. This effectively removes dirt, sand and moisture from the soles of shoes and reliably traps them in the mat. The hard-wearing LUTRADUR base material reduces fibre shedding and creates a stable bond between the pile and the backing. The nitrile rubber backing is resistant to chemicals, grease and oil, and prevents cracking and curling. In addition, the polymer contains 34 per cent recycled material.

Cleaning
Classic Brush mats can be cleaned in various ways:
1.
Commercially washed (see washing instructions)
2.
Vacuum regularly (daily in high-traffic areas; weekly in less busy areas)
3.
Cleaned with an extractor and laid flat to dry
The mats should always be dry before being put back into use, and should be allowed to cool before rolling.
Washing instructions
1. Rinse | 2–3 mins at medium water level and a maximum temperature of 49 °C
2. Rinse (optional) | 2–3 mins at medium water level and a maximum temperature of 49 °C
3. Pause | 2–3 mins at high water level and a maximum temperature of 49 °C
4. Rinse | 2 mins at high water level and cold temperature
5. Rinse | 2 mins at a high water level and cold temperature
6. Spin | on a low setting, 1–2 mins
7. Shaking | spin the drum at washing speed with the drain open, 1 minute
8. Extraction | low speed, 3–5 mins
9. Drying | 5–10 mins, at a maximum drum temperature of 82 °C
10. Cooling | 5 mins
Additional recommendations
- For heavily soiled mats, the wash temperature can be increased to 60 °C.
- The wash should not exceed a pH of 9.5; use non-ionic detergents with a low pH.
- Do not overdry the mats; the drum temperature of the tumble dryer should not exceed 82 °C.
- If the mats are not dry, the rinse temperature can be raised to 60 °C. This will reduce moisture retention during the subsequent spin cycle.
- Lay the mats flat and smooth to cool before rolling.
