The Care water-soluble laundry bag enables hygienic and time-saving handling of contaminated or infectious laundry. The laundry remains securely in the bag and can be washed directly in the machine. At temperatures of 45 °C or higher, the bag dissolves completely, as it is made from a special, water-soluble thermoplastic based on polyvinyl alcohol (PVA). This eliminates the need for unhygienic transfer or handling of soiled laundry, which significantly reduces the risk of infection. The water-soluble laundry bag is ideal for hospitals, care homes, emergency services, the fire service, disease control and asbestos removal, as it prevents cross-contamination and protects staff. It is suitable for both dry and damp soiled laundry.
Instructions for a correct wash cycle :
1. Place soiled laundry in the laundry bag and close it securely using the integrated drawstring. Important: Always fold damp laundry or damp patches inwards to prevent the bag from dissolving prematurely. This ensures the contaminated laundry is optimally prepared for the wash cycle.
2. Place the sealed laundry bags directly into the washing machine and wash as usual. With a wash cycle of at least 30 minutes and temperatures between 45 and 90 °C, the laundry bags, including the drawstring, dissolve completely.
