The Care water-soluble laundry bag enables hygienic and time-saving handling of contaminated or infectious laundry. The laundry remains safely in the bag and can be washed directly in the machine. From a temperature of 45 °C, the bag dissolves completely as it is made of special, water-soluble thermoplastic based on polyvinyl alcohol (PVA). This eliminates the need for unhygienic decanting or touching of soiled laundry, which significantly reduces the risk of infection. The water-soluble laundry bag is ideal for hospitals, care homes, emergency services, fire brigades, epidemic defence and asbestos removal, as it prevents cross-contamination and protects employees. It is suitable for both dry and damp soiled laundry.
Instructions for a correct wash cycle:
1. Place dirty laundry in the laundry bag and close securely with the integrated drawstring. Important: Fold damp laundry or damp areas inwards to prevent the bag from unravelling prematurely. This ensures that the contaminated laundry is optimally prepared for the wash cycle.
2. Place the sealed laundry bags directly into the washing machine and wash as usual. With a washing time of at least 30 minutes and temperatures between 45 and 90 °C, the laundry bags, including the drawstring, dissolve completely.
