The horizontal surface-mounted nappy-changing unit is made from polypropylene and features a sturdy steel frame for maximum stability. Its well-thought-out features include Microban®, a redesigned nappy bag dispenser and the Koala logo, which conveys a sense of comfort to families and the promise of a thoughtfully designed unit.
The compartment for two inserts features an internal spring-loaded tab that pushes the inserts forwards, whilst only one insert can be dispensed at a time. Each recess holds 25 covers, and the locking mechanism minimises the need for users to refill the dispenser and deters vandalism. The product is fitted with child-safety straps. The changing surface is exclusively treated with the antimicrobial Microban ® product protection, which reduces odour-causing bacteria and keeps the surface clean between cleanings. The concealed pneumatic cylinder enables controlled and slow opening and closing of the changing table.
