The Saniswiss aHP is an automatic system for the airborne disinfection of indoor air and surfaces in professional settings. By combining Saniswiss H₂O₂-boosted disinfectant solutions with submicron aerosolisation, the device distributes a dry mist evenly throughout the room. This ensures that even hard-to-reach areas – and those often overlooked during manual cleaning – are covered. The Automat aHP is designed for rooms up to 350 m³ and operates at a consumption rate of 3 ml of disinfectant solution per m³.
Two formulations are available to meet different requirements: Sanitizer Automate P with 6% boosted hydrogen peroxide for preventative use and Sanitizer Automate C with 12% for curative disinfection. The system achieves a reproducible microbe reduction down to LOG 6 and is effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria, yeasts, moulds, viruses and spores.
Operation is largely automated. The unit is positioned in the room, the appropriate room size is set, and it is then started. Once the room has been vacated, the disinfectant solution is aerosolised for a few minutes. A contact time of 30 minutes is required for the treatment to be fully effective. The room is then ventilated for a few minutes, depending on the prevailing airflow. For daily use, the manufacturer specifies an approximate total duration of around 45 minutes per cycle.
The dry mist produced is suitable for electrical equipment and moisture-sensitive materials, meaning that such items can remain in the room during treatment. The portable unit is suitable for use in, amongst other places, patient rooms, intensive care units, operating theatres, radiology departments, MRI suites, emergency services, kitchens and laboratories.
