Divosan Hypochlorite VT3 from Diversey is a highly effective, oxidising disinfectant based on active chlorine. This liquid concentrate has been specially developed for use in the food and drink industry, as well as in the dairy sector, and is suitable for rapid and reliable final disinfection in both open and closed CIP processes.
The product is effective against a broad spectrum of microorganisms, including bacteria, yeasts, fungi, spores and viruses. Special stabilisers enhance shelf stability and ensure consistently high efficacy. In addition, Divosan Hypochlorite has a powerful oxidising effect that breaks down deposits and reduces unpleasant odours. The concentrate does not foam, is easy to rinse off and can be used manually, in immersion baths, with foam cleaning equipment or via automatic dosing systems.
Depending on the degree of soiling, the product is generally used at a concentration of 0.25 to 1 per cent. Surfaces that come into contact with food must be thoroughly rinsed with fresh, potable-quality water after disinfection. The product is not suitable for copper, brass, aluminium or other non-ferrous and light metals.
