Oxivir Excel Acti from Diversey is a concentrated disinfectant cleaner for hard, non-porous surfaces and for non-invasive medical devices. AHP technology, based on hydrogen peroxide, enables cleaning and disinfection in a single step. The product offers a broad spectrum of activity against bacteria, yeasts and both enveloped and non-enveloped viruses, and is effective against, amongst others, polio, adenovirus and murine norovirus.
The powerful combination of surfactants ensures thorough cleaning and also removes mineral deposits. After use, the active ingredient breaks down into water and oxygen, leaving no aggressive residues or protective films. Oxivir Excel Acti is suitable for healthcare facilities, high-risk areas such as operating theatres, intensive care units and patient rooms, as well as for public and food-processing areas.
The concentrate is diluted exclusively with cold water. Depending on the area of application, the working concentration ranges between 1.5 and 4.5 per cent. The working solution is applied using a mop, cloth, sponge or foam spray head, and the surface must be kept completely damp throughout the contact time. After 5 minutes, the surface can be left to air-dry. Rinsing is generally not required, provided there are no specific guidelines to the contrary for food-contact surfaces.
