DESCOSEPT SENSITIVE by Dr. Schumacher is a ready-to-use, alcohol-based rapid disinfectant for cleaning and disinfecting non-invasive medical devices, medical equipment and other alcohol-resistant surfaces. Thanks to its comparatively low ethanol content, the product combines rapid efficacy with good material compatibility and is particularly suitable for daily use in patient-facing environments.
Its broad spectrum of activity covers bacteria, yeasts, mycobacteria and enveloped viruses, as well as selected non-enveloped viruses such as adenoviruses and noroviruses. DESCOSEPT SENSITIVE can be used for wipe disinfection or by spraying. It can also be used to treat sensitive surfaces of medical devices, disinfectant dispensers made of anodised aluminium, and surfaces in food production and processing.
The solution is applied undiluted to the surface, which must first be free of visible dirt. The surface must remain completely wetted throughout the entire contact time. The product is intended for professional use in healthcare facilities, public areas, industry and food processing establishments.
