DESCOSEPT SPEZIAL by Dr Schumacher is a ready-to-use disinfectant and cleaner for non-invasive medical devices, medical equipment and other surfaces. The alcohol-free formulation is particularly suitable for sensitive materials that should not be treated with alcohol-based disinfectants. This includes surfaces made of acrylic and Plexiglas.
The product cleans and disinfects in a single step and can be used both for wipe disinfection and as a foam spray. The foam application ensures even coverage and reduces the formation of aerosols. Thanks to short contact times, treated surfaces can be used again quickly. DESCOSEPT SPEZIAL is based on quaternary ammonium compounds and is free from alcohol, aldehydes and phenols.
The ready-to-use solution is applied undiluted. Visible dirt must be removed before disinfection, and the surface must remain fully wetted throughout the entire contact time. Medical devices that come into contact with the body must then be wiped down with a damp cloth. Surfaces and equipment that come into contact with food must be thoroughly rinsed with drinking water after the contact time has elapsed.
