ULTRASOL OXY by Dr Schumacher is a ready-to-use disinfectant and cleaning agent for invasive medical devices, as well as for medical equipment and surfaces. It can be used either with mechanical action as a wipe disinfectant or without mechanical action via spraying. Cleaning and disinfection are carried out in a single step.
The oxidative formulation, based on hydrogen peroxide and peracetic acid, offers a very broad spectrum of activity. ULTRASOL OXY is bactericidal, levurocidal, tuberculocidal, mycobactericidal, fungicidal, virucidal against all viruses and sporicidal. Sporicidal efficacy against Clostridioides difficile has also been demonstrated within 5 minutes. Thanks to its high material compatibility, the product is suitable for use on numerous metals, plastics, elastomers and textiles, as well as on sensitive medical devices and surfaces.
In addition to healthcare facilities, ULTRASOL OXY can also be used in food-handling areas, commercial kitchens, industry and public facilities. Visible dirt must be removed before disinfection. The product is used undiluted and the surface must remain completely wet throughout the entire contact time. Wiping is not necessary when using spray disinfection.
