The InfraWeeder Ronco is a mobile infrared device for herbicide-free weed control on paths, pavements, driveways and other paved or winding surfaces. Weeds are treated using intense infrared radiation without an open flame. This makes the device suitable for, amongst other things, interlocking paving stones, gravel and flagstone paths, private properties, cemeteries, flat roofs and tennis courts. Its compact and manoeuvrable design allows for precise operation even along edges and in confined spaces.
The 33 × 45 cm working surface reaches a burner temperature of around 850 °C and enables an area coverage of up to 400 m² per hour. The Ronco is powered by propane and is designed for gas cylinders with a diameter of 23 cm and a gas capacity of 5 kg. With a gas consumption of around 0.9 kg per hour, the burning time is approximately 5.5 hours. An electronic igniter makes it easy to start up. The unit is manufactured in Switzerland and is DVGW-certified.
The Ronco is also available in an XL version, which is suitable for plastic gas cylinders with a diameter of 30 cm. Please contact us if you are interested.
