DuPont Tyvek 500 Labo has been specially developed for use in laboratories, the pharmaceutical industry, and electronics and optics manufacturing. It combines the highest level of protection against particles and liquids with optimum comfort. Tyvek is made from spun, continuous fibres of high-density polyethylene; it is permeable to air and water vapour, yet repels water-based liquids and spray mist.
Thanks to its internal seams, the suit offers a particularly low risk of contamination from the inside out, making it ideal for sensitive laboratory and cleanroom applications. Thumb loops prevent the sleeves from riding up, whilst the integrated overshoes with slip-resistant soles provide additional safety.
