The ProShield 20 protective coverall is based on SMS material technology. SMS stands for Spunbond/Meltblown/Spunbond. This is a composite consisting of a layer of brittle and very thin meltblown polypropylene (PP) fibres (the actual barrier layer) sandwiched between two layers of PP spunbond non-woven fabric. The ProShield 20 suits are designed to protect workers from certain substances whilst offering a high level of comfort. Depending on the toxicity and exposure conditions, these suits are worn for protection against particles (Type 5) as well as minor splashes and aerosols (Type 6).
Area of application:
for protection against soiling during light work and for other sectors.
